Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd. (ACS), an Arizona corporation, is certified by the City of Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), and Maricopa County as a  woman-owned small business enterprise qualified to provide consulting services in cultural resource, environmental management, paleoenvironmental studies, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Our name derives from service offerings dating back to 1977 when we were the second cultural resource firm to open its doors in Arizona. Office-building ownership, low overhead, the philosophy that bigger does not equal better, and 30 years in which to develop our staff, computer system, library, equipment inventory, and business relationships, facilitate an economical rate structure.

ACS has four divisions with the president directing the cultural resource division and a director reporting to the president for each of the other three divisions. This structure places responsibility for technical excellence in the appropriate hands. Integration of divisions is promoted by regular meetings, and sharing of goals, staff, and resources.
